On Saturday, November 7, bartenders from across Turks & Caicos are taking over the Turquila bar at Turk’s Head Brewery for the first-ever Turquila Margarita Challenge.

It’s happening alongside the Caribbean Food & Wine Festival Jerk Chicken Competition, and we’re keeping this one simple:

One bartender. One signature margarita. Bring your best.

THE CHALLENGE

Represent your bar, restaurant or resort and create your own signature margarita using any expression of Turquila.

We’ll provide:

• Turquila Cay Blanco
• Turquila Cay Oro
• Turquila Cay Fuego
• Tradewinds Triple Sec
• Fresh limes
• Basic bar equipment & Glassware

You bring the creativity.

Syrups. Juices. Bitters. Garnishes. Infusions. Smoke. Spice. Something we haven't even thought of yet.

If it belongs in your margarita, bring it.

Cay Blanco
Fresh, bright and citrus-driven.

Cay Oro
Warm, smooth and rounded.

Cay Fuego
Deeper, richer and touched with smoke.

Choose the expression that works best with your creation and make it yours.

HOW IT WORKS

Turk’s Head Brewery

Each bartender prepares one signature margarita for the judging panel.

Every drink will be scored from 1–10 in four areas:

Taste & Balance
Creativity
Use of Turquila
Presentation

Highest total score takes the title.

Judging panel to be announced on the Turk’s Head Brewery and Turquila IG accounts shortly.

WHAT’S ON THE LINE?

Prizes are coming.

Bragging rights are immediate.

One bartender will walk away knowing they make the best Turquila margarita in Turks & Caicos.

READY TO TAKE YOUR SHOT?

Entry is free and open to bartenders representing bars, restaurants and resorts across Turks & Caicos.

Multiple bartenders from the same venue are welcome. In fact, we encourage it.

Pre-register by November 5 so we know you’re coming. No recipe required. Just your name, your venue and your contact information.

Once registered, choose one Turquila expression you plan to use for your signature cocktail: Cay Blanco, Cay Oro or Cay Fuego. We’ll arrange to deliver a bottle directly to your bar, restaurant or resort so you can experiment, refine your recipe and get comfortable with your chosen expression ahead of the big day.

It also gives our team a chance to meet you, learn a little about what you’re creating and make sure you have what you need for the competition.

Decide what you’re making. Choose your Turquila. Bring whatever special ingredients or equipment your serve requires.

And yes, walk-ups are welcome too.
